College basketball games started as early as 10:30 local time this morning, so we're a bit slow on some of our picks. However, we as a team are 3-0 so far to start today:

Tonight features a fairly poor array of games from a power conference perspective. 4 mid-major conference championship games are today, beginning at either 6pm or 8pm CT. Thankfully, we are confident in our picks in several of these, along with other quarterfinal and semifinal games as well.

Fairfield ML (-140)
Saint Peter's (12-17) vs. Fairfield (13-17), 6pm CT on ESPN+
Winners of both matchups earlier this year, Fairfield comes into tonight as a 3-point favorite. Are both teams bad? Simply put, yes. But the Stags are a little worse. Expect an ugly, low scoring contest.

UTRGV +7.5 (-110)
UTRGV (15-16) @ Tartleton State (16-15), 8pm CT on ESPN+
Similar to our first pick, UTRGV won both of the earlier matchups in league play against Tarleton. As a team, UTRGV has killed us this year, but there is a bit of faith in them tonight.
Tarleton ranks 303rd nationally in effective field goal percentage, while UTRGV ranks 4th in adjusted pace of play, per KenPom. This game could either be a track meet in the underdog's favor or a methodical matchup of two relatively poor teams.

Gonzaga/Saint Mary's o138.5 (-110)
The over has hit this mark in both games in this series between these two sides. Gonzaga plays at a blazing pace, with the #1 adjusted offense efficiency. Saint Mary's plays at one of the slowest paces in the country, but expect Gonzaga to win this game and keep a stronghold of the tempo.

Utah Tech (13-18) vs. SFA (19-12)
SFA won their only game against Utah Tech this year by 13 in Nacogdoches. I probably won't watch this game but SFA is a quality team in a tough WAC conference.
