After a weekend away from the site, we're back and better than ever. Between those of us on the site, a few hundred dollars were won thanks to our Chiefs. As seen on the blog with our long list of golf picks for the Waste Management Open, we dont f--- around when it comes to PGA picks.

Tonight features a pretty meh slate of games in the world of college basketball. However, like every night, there are a couple bets that we are praying might have a chance at hitting by some miracle, so tail at your own risk, along with some other plays around the rest of the sports landscape.

CBB Plays:

NC A&T ML (-140)

NC A&T (12-15) @ Monmouth (5-21), 6pm CT on ESPN+

Nothing says Monday night basketball like a battle between 2 sub .500 teams in a mid-major conference. These schools played each other less than a month ago and Monmouth miraculously won the game outright. With that holding true, the Hawks are still very, very bad. Am I still salty from when George Papas stole the ball from Tristan Enaruna in the closing seconds of when Monmouth played at KU in 2019? No. But that's even more of a reason to fade the home team in this spot.

Miami +5.5 (-110)

#20 Miami (20-5) @ UNC (16-9), 6pm CT on ESPN

North Carolina has looked live a very average ACC team for the better likes of the last 3-4 weeks, even with this game being played in Chapel Hill tonight. They just slaughtered Clemson at home this weekend, but even then, I don't think Clemson should be higher than a 7-8 seed in this year's NCAA tournament. Miami is a very respectable 5-4 on the road this year and while I don't think they'll win this game outright, it should be close to the end.

Bethune-Cookman ML (-130)

Jackson State (8-17) @ B-C (9-16), 6:30pm CT on ESPN+

I hate betting on matchups between HBCUs just because it's so hard to get on a read on most of them from a predictions standpoint. However, Jackson State is 3-14 on the road this year and B-C features former 4-star recruit, Zion Harmon (14 PPG), so this is purely a heart play.

Another matchup between 2 really bad teams, I'm riding with the Golden Lions on the simple fact they're 8-2 at home this year and gave Oklahoma serious problems earlier this year.
